In 2009 the global water crisis was brought to the attention of a small group of people. After months of research we decided to see what we could do to make a change in the world for people who do not have access to the basic human needs such as clean water and sanitation.
Our research not only uncovered facts about this crisis but also provided examples of how people just like us can make a substantial change in our world. Due to the enormity of the problem we found that other organizations that focus on issues relating to extreme poverty not only supported our efforts but encouraged us to become involved. We are dedicated to collaborating with these other organization and supporting new organizations to make a difference in our world.
Today GlobalChange.Me has partnered with ICDI ( Integrated Community Development International) who are currently in the field in Central African Republic implementing and developing substainable projects for the people in this region to become self sufficient. ICDI has a proven track record for successful programatic services and now employ people living in this region giving the communities ownership of this work.
